TimeStatement makes it easy to create QR invoices for your clients in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The Swiss QR code replaces the former payment slip and contains all important information for automatic payment and booking.
Setting up the company settings for QR invoices
To unlock the QR invoice feature, you first have to set up the right settings for your company. Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the "Management" tab, click "Companies" and select the company.
2. Make sure your postal code and town are entered correctly in the "Address" field.
3. In the "Country" field, enter "Switzerland" or "Liechtenstein".
4. Enable the "Enable Swiss QR invoice" feature.
5. Fill in the "IBAN number for QR-Invoice" field. The QR-IBAN is a special IBAN number that you have to request from your bank.
Note: If you haven't requested a QR-IBAN from your bank, TimeStatement can still create a QR invoice with a regular IBAN number. In this case, your IBAN number must be entered in the "Bank details" field. Instead of a QR reference, the "Creditor Reference" (ISO 11649 standard) is then used automatically.
6. Save your changes.
Creating a QR code invoice
Create a new invoice as usual. If the QR settings have been enabled, you can choose "With QR Code" or "Without QR Code" under "PDF".
