With TimeStatement, you can create invoices in different languages. Translations for English, Italian and French are already included in the TimeStatement system and can be set directly in the client's invoicing settings.
If you need another language, you first have to add it and enter the corresponding translations. You can then assign the language to the client.
Adding a new language
To add a new language with translations for invoices:
1. On the "Management" tab, go to the "Settings" area and click "Translations".
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Add language" button.
3. Enter the name of the language in the "Name" field and click "Add".
4. Now enter the translations for the relevant terms in the text boxes.
5. Finally, click "Save".
Note: Make sure the translations for "withinXDays" and "until" contain a "%", since a value is inserted at that position later.
Adding/editing translations for a language
To add or adjust translations for an existing language:
1. On the "Management" tab, go to the "Settings" area and click "Translations".
2. Select the language in the drop-down menu at the top and fill in all fields with the correct terms, or add an additional translation by clicking "Add translation" at the bottom.
3. Save the translations by clicking "Save".
Editing the client's invoicing settings
For the client's invoice to be created in a specific language, the language must be set in the client's invoicing settings.
1. Go to the "Clients" tab and click the client.
2. Click "Invoicing Settings".
3. Under "Language", select the language you created.
4. Click "Save".
From now on, invoices you create for this client are generated in the selected language.
