In TimeStatement, you can change an employee's workload at any time, even during the year.
Important: When the workload changes, you should usually create a new work plan instead of editing the existing one. Don't delete earlier work plans. They are needed to correctly calculate the work time balance and the vacation entitlement for each period.
Example:
- Work plan A: 20% workload from 01/01/2026
- Work plan B: 50% workload from 06/01/2026
- Work plan C: 100% workload from 09/01/2026
How to create a new work plan
- Open Management > Users.
- Select the user.
- Open Work plan > Target Working Hours Definition.
- Click "Create Workload".
- Enter the start date, the new target working hours and the workload.
- Click "Save".
You can find detailed instructions in the article "How do I set up an employee's work plan?".
When should I edit an existing work plan?
If you made a mistake during setup, you can correct the existing/first work plan.
Please note: Only the most recent work plan can be edited. If you want to change an older work plan, you first have to delete all work plans created after it.
Proceed carefully, as changes can affect the calculation of the work time balance and the vacation entitlement.
