You use the "Add project time to working time" feature, which automatically adds recorded project time to the work time. In some cases, however, the automatic transfer can be prevented. Please check the following points:
1. Was the feature enabled at the time of recording?
Under Management > Settings > Features, check whether the "Add project time to working time" feature was enabled at the time the time was recorded. The setting doesn't apply retroactively. If the feature was enabled later, project time already recorded isn't automatically added to the work time afterwards.
2. Are there already entries for that day?
Project time can't be added to work time automatically if work time or an absence has already been recorded for that period.
Check this for the user under Timesheets > Worktime and under Timesheets > Planned Absences. You can also check the PDF monthly statement for that month.
Important: Even a very short entry can prevent the transfer. For example, a work time entry from 9:00 to 9:01 AM prevents project time from 9:00 to 11:00 AM from being added automatically.
3. Is there an edit deadline?
Under Management > Settings > Features, check the edit deadlines for project time and work time and see whether they differ.
No work time edit deadline may apply to that day. If necessary, you can temporarily set the restriction to "No restrictions" and save the change.
4. Is the period locked by a closing?
A closing for the employee can also mean that a time period can no longer be edited.
So check whether a closing exists for that employee and day. You can find the closings under: Management > Users > click the user > Closings
