To deactivate or delete a user:
- Log in to your TimeStatement account.
- Open Management > Users.
- Click the user.
- On the "Details" tab, disable the "Active" option to deactivate the user.
- Click "Save" to apply the change.
- Alternatively, click "Delete" to remove the user permanently.
Why is it better to deactivate users instead of deleting them?
We recommend deactivating users instead of deleting them. This keeps all recorded data such as times, activities and expenses in the system so it can still be viewed later.
A deactivated user can no longer log in to TimeStatement or record new entries. They also no longer count as an active user within your license.
Deactivated users can be reactivated at any time. Once you have deactivated a user, you can add a new user or reduce the number of users in your license under Management > License from the next billing period.
How do I reactivate a deactivated user?
To reactivate a deactivated user:
- Log in to your TimeStatement account.
- Open Management > Users.
- Click the user.
- On the "Details" tab, enable the "Active" option to reactivate the user.
- Click "Save" to apply the change.
Note: A reactivated user counts toward the number of used users within your license again. If not enough user licenses are available, the system may be temporarily locked.
In this case, you can either deactivate another user you no longer need or increase the number of user licenses under Management > License.
